Château Puy-de-Lignac

 AOP Blaye, Côtes de Bordeaux

A historic property, ideally located

Château Puy de Lignac is one of our 2  florets in Côtes de Blaye.

It is located on the southern slopes of Blayais, with a breathtaking view of the Gironde estuary.

Its existence dates back to the planting of the first vines in this area.

As its name suggests, its vines are located at the top of a hill or "Puy" in local jargon.

The property also has a "well", an element that can be confusing...

Alison Schweitzer's commentary

"Its aging is carried out with our best plots of vines in the respect of tradition and the product, a long aging in Bordeaux barrels in French oak barrels, gives it the finesse and suppleness of a very great wine.

It is a wine that is particularly close to my heart and that I want to share with my friends around the world."
