A Puy under the sign of Love

Château Puy de Lignac is one of our two jewels in Côtes de Blaye.

It is located on the southern slopes of the Blayais, with a breathtaking view of the Gironde estuary.

Its existence dates back to the planting of the first vines in this area.

As its name suggests, its vines are located at the top of a hill or "Puy" in local jargon.

The property also has a "well", an element that can lead to confusion ...

The acquisition of this vineyard was made as a wedding gift from Albert for his beloved Alison.

Indeed, in 2006 after years of marriage, Mr. Schweitzer decided to offer a vineyard to his wife in honor of his love for her.
