St. Paul's Castle

 AOP Blaye, Côtes de Bordeaux

A combination of tradition and modernity

The Château Saint Paul is one of our two flagships in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation.

It is situated next to the village that carries the same name, that dates from the 12th century.

Its ground is composed of sandy-clay on a limestone bedrock.

In early 2017, we have begun the construction of a new winery that can benefit from the latest technology to make our wine in the best possible conditions while respecting traditional methods.

Nicolas Schweitzer's comment:

"Since we acquired Château Saint Paul, that I jointly manage with my father, we have undertaken important construction work on the Château and in the vineyards, no tabling building a new winery.

All of this has been done with the objective of making the most of the great terroir around the Château to make a high quality wine.

I try and make my wine according to my values of hard working and originality."
